PVC Decking is a good alternative to old fashioned hollow composite decking. So why use PVC Decking ? 

  • The main advantage of PVC Decking is that the expansion and contraction is far less than with the majority of hollow composite decking boards. There is nothing worse than walking on a composite deck that has 10mm gaps on the end join this looks unsightly and can also act as a dirt catcher.
  • PVC decking is Non Slip certified.
  • PVC Decking is generally class 1 fire rated.

In the past Wide Pank PVC Decking boards have been used primarily on Caravan Parks and trailer homes, this is however starting to change with tha manufacturers beginning to introduce styles and finishes more suited to the domestic Market. This brand of Plastic Decking is produced using a high percentage of recycled material and comes with a full BS standard slip rating.

Millboard Decking

This product is a Premium decking board it is aesthetically on par with the Trex decking board that we have highlighted in previous articles. This board hosts a number of unique characteristics and offers an amazingly realistic alternative to wooden decking.
