Trex Wood Decking

Work has started on our Trex composite Decking display centre in Swansea South Wales.

Trex have introduced a number of new composite decking products into their ranges for 2019. With this in mind we have decided to showcase the new Trex plastic wood products at our branch in Pontardulais ( Swansea ).

Whats new with Trex Plastic Decking

One of the new displays that we will be installing early March is a custom Cure Deck. Trex are unique as they are the only company set up to curve the boards in a full circle. Aesthetically this looks amazing as unique curved borders can now be inserted into the decking design.

How are the Trex synthetic decking boards curved ?

The boards are curved using a machine designed specifically to heat the individual boards to a level where they are able to be placed in a Clamp system. The boards then take the shape of the curve that the clamp takes. We will be taking images of the curve and how these are fitted. It will be a good to see the process from start to Finish. 

The new decking displays will showcase Trex Transcend, Trex Natural Enhance and Trex Basics ranges however when it comes to the curving of the composite boards only the Trex Transcend will work.

Decking display centre

We are hoping that the new composite decking design centre will give our customers the ability to get ideas on colours and decking designs. We are also able to offer decking installers up to a Platinum level this will ensure that the composite deck is backed by a Trex Warranty. We are also able to fully design and plan the deck to meet the individual requirements.
